2021 Tarot Decks On My Wishlist

A couple of weeks ago I talked about the fact I’d be trying to share more non-bookish content, and well, get ready because the next two posts are just that. I’m starting off nice and easy today with a post about some of the tarot decks coming out in 2021 that I would seriously love to add to my collection. So without further ado, let’s get into it.

Jim Henson’s Labyrinth Tarot

I’m a simple girl—I see something Bowie or Labyrinth related? I instantly want it. This is due to be released in July, and as far I can tell, they’re really aren’t many details out yet. This picture says the cover is still to be finalised, so this might not even be what it looks like for all we know. I am a little apprehensive about this one—it could either be beautifully done and a nice ode to the film, or it could just be a complete mess and a money grab. I definitely won’t be ordering this one until we get to see more information about the set-up and the cards and whatnot, but I can’t deny that I will definitely buy it for myself, and possibly a friend who would equally love it, if it turns out to be done well.

Tarot of Mystical Moments

This one is due out in April, and in all honesty, I’ll probably end up pre-ordering it. I think I’ve only ever pre-ordered one tarot deck before—usually, I like to wait for reviews and flip-throughs and whatnot. But I own the Oracle of Mystical Moments and it’s one of my favourite decks—it’s easy to use, it’s beautiful and it’s extremely different from anything else in my collection. From the cover, this looks like it’s the same sort of style so the moment I saw it I knew it would be one that I’d want to add to my collection. This has a more sort of collage-style to it, which is not something I really have in any other deck. If I like this even half as much as the oracle, then there’s a real chance I could have a new favourite deck.

White Numen Tarot

I’ve talked about this one before as it was supposed to be released in December, but it got pushed back until this month instead. I’m kind of glad that it was because it’s given me a little more time to think about this and whether I need it or not. I won’t be buying it immediately, but I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for a couple of reviews. I do think it’s a stunning deck—one of the most beautiful ones I’ve seen in a while, especially with those colours (!!!) but I still haven’t quite decided whether it’s different enough from the other things I own and want. I highly recommend you have a look at the creator’s, AlbaBG, Instagram as they regularly post their beautiful artwork, both tarot-related and not.

The Harmony Tarot

I have to admit that I have no idea who this artist is—Amazon tells me she’s an influential YouTube star, but I really got sucked in by the art style. I don’t even know how to describe this style, but it has a sort of whimsical look to it while also being quite clean and simple. The only thing that I’m a little apprehensive about is the box, it looks like those long, square ones and I just hate how difficult those are to store. I mean, I already don’t have space on my tarot shelf, let alone room for another awkwardly shaped one. But that doesn’t mean I want it any less. I haven’t been able to find images to show you all apart from linking to the Amazon page, so apologies for that, but you need to see that gorgeous image of ‘The Witch’ card.

And so those are the ones I’m most interested in right now. Do you collect tarot decks? What are some of your favourites?
