Most Anticipated Releases for the Second-Half of 2022 | Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is most anticipated releases for the second half of the year. This post is basically me showing my obsession for contemporary romance plus a few random things, so let’s get to.

Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood

I’ve been excited to read this one ever since I read The Love Hypothesis earlier this year. I really enjoyed that one, though I know there are some mixed feelings about it in the bookish world. I just had a lot of fun with it so I’m excited to read Love on the Brain when it’s out in August.

Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner

There’s honestly nothing better in this world than sapphic contemporary romance. I want all of them, and this one sounds like it’ll be a good time. It’s about a college senior who accidentally hooks up with her best friend’s mum, like excuse me? I need that. This is out in October, just a few days after my birthday so I’ll definitely be treating myself to this.

Our Missing Hearts by Celeste Ng

I love Celeste Ng. I added this one to my TBR the second I heard about it, even without a synopsis, because I trust Ng to write a completely compelling and probably somewhat heartbreaking book no matter the plot. This one is also out at the start of October.

Ship Wrecked by Olivia Dade

I’ve loved both books in the Spoiler Alert series so far and I’ve been eagerly holding out for this one. This series follows a bunch of co-stars as they fall in love and this one is about two of them falling in love with each other. I’m so ready for this, but it’s not out until November.

Two Wrongs Make A Right by Chloe Liese

I have loved everything I’ve read from Chloe Liese so far so I have absolutely no doubt that she won’t let me down with this one either. Plus it’s fake dating, which is my absolute favourite romance trope, and by my favourite romance author—how could I not love this? It’s also out in November.

The Killing Code by Ellie Marney

Speaking of favourite authors, this is the latest from Ellie Marney who has been a favourite author of mine for years now. This is a historical WWII with a murder mystery tied in and it just sounds absolutely fantastic. It’s out in September and I’ll definitely be getting it the week its released.

Nobody’s Princess by Erica Ridley

I absolutely loved the first book in the Wild Wynchester series, so this one immediately went on my list. It’s book three and I haven’t read book two yet, but I just know I’m going to love this. I don’t have too long to wait as this is out at the end of this month.

Carrie Soto Is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid

I’ve become a bit of a TJR fangirl this year, so I couldn’t resist putting this one onto the list. I find TJR’s books to be very immersive and I always feel strange returning to the ‘real world’ after her books, so I’m excited to get into this one and to meet Carrie Soto. This one also isn’t too long away as it’s due to be released at the end of August.

Mixed Signals by B.K Borison

I loved the first book in this series and I’m hoping to read book two this month so I’m already super psyched for this one. The cover is absolutely gorgeous and they’re just such sweet, lighthearted, fun reads that are perfect to escape into. This is also released at the end of August.

The Atlas Paradox by Olivie Blake

Last but not least! This is the sequel to The Atlas Six, which really surprised me earlier this year, and I’m so excited for it. I’m really interested to see where this goes after how the last one ended, and it’s out at the end of October.
