Earl Grey Books

It’s time for another look at what’s on my Kindle Unlimited today. I don’t think I’ve done one of these since February, so there’s been quite a bit of change. I only have ten books out at the moment, so we’re going to jump straight into it.

Not So Kind Regards (Warts & Claws Inc #1) by Clio Evans

I’ve been holding onto this one since January, just waiting for the perfect time to read it. It’s a monster romance so I’m just waiting to be in that kind of mood again, hopefully in a few weeks, so I can finally try this.

Murder at Morrington Hall (A Stella and Lyndy Mystery #1) by Clara McKenna

I think I might end up picking this one up this week. I’ve been reading a few historical mysteries in the last three weeks and I’ve been loving them, so if there’s ever a time for this one.

Mile High (Windy City #1) by Liz Tomforde & Pucking Around (Jacksonville Rays #1) by Emily Rath

Lumping these two together because they are both over 700-page ice hockey romances that I’m more than 40% of the way through. I do plan on finishing both of them, I just don’t know when.

Where Shadows Lie (Her Last Gift #1) by Allegra Pescatore

I don’t remember what led me to this book—I think it was just a recommended one that came up for something else. Anyway, I realised just the other day that the lead character is disabled and so this immediately went up my priority list. It’ll probably still be a while before I get to it, but I’m more excited now.

Coach (Treasure State Wildcats #1) by Devney Perry

I’ve had some people tell me that I’d enjoy Devney Perry’s books lately so I picked this one up a few weeks ago. I don’t really know when I plan on reading it, but hopefully, I’ll find myself in the mood for it one day soon.

The Sword (Mortal Fates #0.2) by J. Bree

This is the second prequel to J. Bree’s new book. I read the first one at the start of June and just haven’t gotten around to this one. The novel is one of the July books for The Bar book club so I’d really like to try and read this and go into that one this month, but we’ll see.

Dark Fae (Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac #1) by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

Another book club read! This is the pick for the Last to Read book club, which I co-host over on our Ko-fi. We’ve already started this one and it’s been a journey, to say the least. I’m loving getting to read it with everyone though.

Envy (The Deadly Seven #1) by Lana Pecherczyk

I’ve been reading a lot from Lana Pecherczyk this year and I love her so much. I’ve been catching up with her Fae Guardians series, but I’ve also been extremely tempted by this one and her new series. I thought I’d just borrow this one so I’d have it ready whenever I manage to get to it.

Haunted by Shadows (Magic Wars: The Demons of New Chicago #2) by Kel Carpenter

I read book one in this series last year and meant to continue, but never did. I absolutely loved that first book though, so I do want to come back to it. I probably need to do a reread first so I don’t think I’ll get to this for a while yet but I’m still excited.
