I mentioned in my Spring TBR on Tuesday that I had a few books I want to read before moving in a few months time. I only talked about two on that list so I thought today I’d expand it and talk about some of the others. So let’s jump in.
Just Kids by Patti Smith // Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer #1) by Laini Taylor

These were the two I mentioned in that post, so I’m just going to very quickly recap them here. Basically, I have the huge and heavy illustrated edition of Just Kids and while I think I’ll enjoy it, I do think it’s one I’ll want to leave in storage, at least until we’ve sorted the place. On the other hand, I’m not sure if I’ll want to keep Strange the Dreamer at all so I want to read it soon and decide.
Sex, Lies and Question Time by Kate Ellis
This is a non-fiction about the sexism women face in the Australian government. My partner has already read this one and he said it was interesting, but I don’t know that it’ll be one I end up taking either. I’d like to give it a read though.
Shadow and Wolves (Shadowlands Sector #1-3) by Mila Young

This is another one I think I’ll enjoy, but don’t really want to move with. This is the complete series so it’s almost 700 pages long and it’s indie pubbed so it’s heavy as hell. I’ve enjoyed Mila Young’s books before so I definitely want to read it, so I’ll just have to make time for it before moving.
How Many More Women by Jennifer Robinson and Keina Yoshida
Here’s some more non-fiction about women—this time it’s about the disadvantages women face in regards to laws across the world. I’m not sure about this one honestly, it’ll depend on whether it’s full of legal jargon or not. I’m planning to read this one as an audiobook, following along with my physical copy.
Glint (The Plated Prisoner #2) by Raven Kennedy

It’s been over a year since I read the first book in this series. I’ve put this one on the list because I need to decide if I still want to continue the series or not. This is the only one in the series that I own, so even if I decide to continue, I’ll probably donate this one anyway.
Daughter of the Forest (Sevenwaters #1) by Juliet Marillier
I recently unhauled the few other books of Marillier’s that I own because my opinion on them changed. This is the only one I kept because I’ve never tried it. I’ve really enjoyed Marillier in the past so I wanted to at least give this a chance and if it turns out I’ve just outgrown her books, I’ll donate this one as well.
In all honesty, this is just a snapshot of this list. Every single day I think about adding another book to this list, but this is where we’ll leave it today. I’m hoping to mark some of these off soon and to be able to share how I’m going in early November.
