#5OnMyTBR is a bookish meme hosted by E. @ Local Bee Hunter’s Nook and you can learn more about it here or in the post announcing it. I’ve been joining in very occasionally when I can fit it in with my schedule, but I couldn’t resist today’s topic which is books starting with the letter E. I happened to have exactly five on my TBR, so let’s jump into them.

Embroidering Her Truth by Clare Hunter
Starting off with a little bit of non fiction! This is about Mary Queen of Scots and the overlap between textiles and politics in her life. It honestly sounds like a really interesting read but just haven’t made the time for it. I’ve got such a long TBR for non fiction November next month that I highly doubt I’ll end up getting this one, but if I get the chance, I’ll definitely pick it up.
Emma by Jane Austen
Emma is the last of Austen’s works that I have to read. Honestly, that’s kind of upsetting so I’ve been holding off. Emma is not a favourite in terms of the adaptations I’ve seen, but it’s also not my least favourite. It’s not high up on my priority list right now.
Endgame (Sirantha Jax #6) by Ann Aguirre
This is the final book in the Sirantha Jax series and right now I haven’t even picked up book two, so this is obviously not very high up the list either. I did love the first book, so much so that I bought the whole series which I don’t usually do. I plan on trying to squeeze book two into my reading before the end of the year.
Essential Essays by Adrienne Rich
Some more non fiction. Again I’m not expecting to get to this one in November. I’ve read a little bit of this before and it wasn’t an easy read—I reread the first two essays a few times and I’d probably reread them again when I have the chance to dedicate some time to this.
Everything For You (Bergman Brothers #5) by Chloe Liese
I absolutely adore the first four books in this series but I’d been holding off reading this one until the final book is out in April next year. While writing this post I decided I’d start rereading this series starting in November, so I’m excited to start that off soon.
And those are all of my E’s. Have you read any of these? What E’s are on your TBR?
