Girls’ Trip TBR

As you’re reading this, I’m on a week-long girls’ trip with my best friend, Angel. And of course, because it’s the two of us, we started talking about what books we were bringing months ago. My Kindle is loaded up and I’m here to share some of the things I might read this week.

The Hookup Plan (The Boyfriend Project #3) by Farrah Rochon

I think this’ll end up being the one I read first. I started it the other day to see if I wanted to switch it out for something else, and I read the first 8% and was already enjoying it. I’ve not read either of the previous books and I’m not interested in them, but I think I’m going to enjoy this one.

Not So Kind Regards (Warts & Claws Inc. #1) by Clio Evans

I originally had this big plan of reading things I’d been avoiding but I ended up deciding just to focus on one instead of that 10 I’d flagged. This one is the book I’ve had out for the longest from KU—I originally borrowed it in January 2023 so it’s about time I gave it a shot.

Midnight Duet by Jen Comfort

I’d literally never heard of this one when I decided to borrow it. It’ll mark off a challenge prompt for me and it does sound like a fun read. It follows a Broadway star and a glam rock musician working to save an opera house which sounds like a good time to me.

The Deal (Off-Campus #1) by Elle Kennedy

I’ve been saying I’d reread this series for years and I’m finally going to make myself do it. I read this back in 2017 before I was even really reading romance and I loved it, but now that I’m a hockey romance fan, it’s time for me to come back to it. I’m excited but also nervous, so we’ll see how it goes.

The Puck Secret (Fairfield U #1) by G.N Wright

There’s something about being on holiday that just makes me want to read ice hockey romance. I’ve been needing to read this one for a post for a few months now and I’m using this week to finally push myself to do that. This is definitely high up on my list.

And that’s it. Hopefully, right now I’m sitting in a deck chair maybe with a nice little cocktail, enjoying something off this list.
