Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s topic is our Autumn/Spring TBRs.
I’ve only picked out five for this Spring. I’ve been in a massive reading slump for pretty much this entire year and rather than trying to force my way through it, I’m just focusing on reading things I’m really enjoying instead.
The Amazons by Adrienne Mayor
I thought I’d start off this list with my two nonfiction picks for Spring. I’ve owned The Amazons for a while and haven’t made time for it because it’s a little chunky. I plan to start it in October and see how I go from there.
The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander
I’ve had an ebook version of this for years—it was actually one of the first things I bought on Kindle and I’ve always just thought ‘Oh I’ll get to that soon’. Well here we are like four years later and I’m finally doing it. I have started, but I’m waiting for my audiobook hold to come in so I can switch between the two.
Nevermoor (Nevermoor #1) by Jessica Townsend
This is my reread for the season so that I can finally get to book three. This is one of my favourite series and I love getting to jump back into it—I’ve read this first book three or four times already and I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of it.
Daydream (Maple Hills #3) by Hannah Grace
I wanted to put this one on here because I’m only about 120 pages off the end and I’ll probably finish it today. I like having something that I know I’m going to mark off, it gives me a definite push to read the other things on the list. I’m also just absolutely loving this and I can’t wait to see how it wraps up.
One For All by Lillie Lainoff
There’s one readathon I plan on joining in on for the rest of the year and this is one of the books I plan to read. I’ve been so excited to pick this up for so long so I hope end up enjoying it as much as I think I will!
Nevermoor will always be fun.

I’m not generally one for series, but I couldn’t help myself when it came to the Nevermoor series.

I have all kinds of books in my Kindle that have been there for years and I’ve never touched. I’m not sure that I’ll make the effort to read them like you are. Happy reading!

I still need to read Wildfire and since I wasn’t the biggest fan of Icebreaker, I first want to read that one before deciding on Daydream.
Happy reading!
