I don’t even know what happened to September, but it means today is time for my wrap up. This is a little later than usual because I was sick and then out of town, but better late than never!
Reading

This was definitely an eclectic mix of books this month. These were either for research or for a project I’m doing, excluding The Night Circus which I read for book club. I was really in a productive mood with my reading rather than a leisurely one but I did still enjoy these reads. Unnatural Death was definitely my favourite though!
TV and Movies
I’ve been obsessed with watching nothing but crime lately, so this month I started watching both High Potential and Cold Case. I’m really enjoying both for different reasons and I couldn’t pick between them. I will say, High Potential give more Castle vibes and Cold Case is a little more SVU—both are great, it all depends upon my mood.
Life Stuff
September was a big month for me. I started a new, full-time job in the second week. I really, really enjoy the job so far and my new coworkers are all nice though I miss my old team too. I did get to see my old team as we have a little book club together—this was our first proper meeting after we read The Night Circus and we had a great time discussing it. Unfortunately, I did end the month sick which was a bit of a downer.
Plans for October
I just got back from RARE in Melbourne, which I’ll talk about next month. I’m kind of exhausted but I had an excellent time and I think this month will be a good one. I’m also turning 30 the day after tomorrow, which is exciting too. But as for goals for the month…
- Read six books to keep up with my reading goal
- Finish my next two assignments
That was September for me. What did you get up to?
