Watching and Listening | September 2020

Here it is, my favourite post of every month! Let’s just jump straight in with this one!

Marvel

In last month’s post, I mentioned I was trying to do the whole Marvel in timeline order thing, and I made some pretty decent progress on that this month. I started with Iron Man and Iron Man 2, which are both pretty good. I then watched The Incredible Hulk for the first time—this is my least favourite Marvel movie as well as being the only one I hadn’t seen before. About halfway through the month, I rewatched Thor, which was alright—it’s good for what it is, but it’s no Ragnarok. I kind of needed a break after all of those, so I decided to take a break until October.

Movies with Angel

I finally got to see Angel for the first time since March, and we watched a whole bunch of movies! First up, the live-action Scooby-Doo—the one with Sarah Michelle Gellar and etc, which was a childhood fave. The first Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies. Then we went on an action-adventure kick and watched all four Indiana Jones films, and the first The Mummy movie (which by the way is one of my all-time favourite movies).

Miscellaneous

I watched a pretty weird mix of things on top of all these. First up, The Riot Club—honestly one of the most painful movies I’ve ever watched. Alternative title could’ve been Entitled Rich White Boys Being Entitled And Rich. It has a really solid cast so especially disappointing. I also watched Enola Holmes which I absolutely adored. And I also watched Dial M For Murder, Laura and Spellbound for this post I did on Monday!

And that’s it for September! What did you watch this month?
