This is honestly one of my favourite posts to put together every two months—the one in which I get to talk about all the amazing audiobooks I have from Libro.fm’s ACL program. Today, we’re just talking about the September ones as I decided not to pick any up for October. So let’s get into them.
The Archer by Shruti Swamy

I know basically nothing about this one, which honestly is pretty standard for me when it comes to picking my Libro books but I couldn’t resist that beautiful cover. But I believe this is a coming-of-age story set in the 1960s and 70s in Bombay which sounds very intriguing. I believe it has something to do with dancing as well which I think always makes for an interesting read even though I’m definitely not a dancer myself. This sounds like it’s just going to be a beautiful story altogether and I’m excited to give it a go.
The Inheritance of Orquídea Divina by Zoraida Córdova

I’ve been wanting to try something from Zoraida Córdova for ages now and I’ve just not picked anything up before now, but I absolutely couldn’t resist getting this one. I really love magical realism books from Latinx and Hispanic authors so I have high hopes that I’m going to end up loving this one too. The synopsis for this is a little vague, but it does mention some kind of powers and a multi-generational story which very much gives me like Isabel Allende vibes with some other stuff thrown in too. I really think I’m going to enjoy this one so I can’t wait to give it a try soon.
Hi, just wondering, what do you use to make your banners? They’re very pretty 🙂
