I’ve fallen in love with monster romance. That’s a sentence I never thought I’d say, but I can’t deny it—it’s my new romance obsession.
So today, I’m going to talk you through six different monster romances that are sitting either on my Kindle already or in my Amazon wishlist that I’m really excited for and am hoping to get to in the next little while. So let’s jump straight into it!

Sin & Spell (Tenebra City #2) by A.M Kore
Ah, the series that started it all! Quiver and Quill was my first ever monster romance, and I loved it so much that it’s the whole reason I put together this post and found all these books. I read the #1.5 novella last week so now I’m ready to jump head first into this one and I’m so excited. You can see my reviews of those first two here.
A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor (Tempting Monsters #1) by Kathryn Moon
Angel has been telling me about Kathryn Moon for a few months now, though always with the warning that I might not enjoy them as much. But I’m willing to give it a go and see how I feel. I know this is a Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde type story which sounds really interesting and honestly, that cover is to die for.
Girls Weekend (Girls Weekend #1) by C.M Nascosta
Even in the monster sub-genre that my romance reads are definitely angled more towards the lighter contemporary side of things because it’s ones like Girls Weekend that immediately grabbed my attention. While I don’t mind reading a few more intense ones, I’m just in a light and fluffy mindset right now. This one takes place at an orc nudist resort which sounds kind of fantastic and I’m here for it.
Muscles and Monsters (Leviathan Fitness #1) by Ashley Bennett
I won’t lie—it was the cover that originally drew me to this one. It’s downright adorable, and it even has cake on it! The gym/fitness side of this is less interesting to me, but I’m here for a smutty good time for someone with “wolfish charm” who is also a literal wolf. Sign me up!
That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon (Mead Mishaps #1) by Kimberly Lemming
Angel read this one just last week and said it was fantastic, so I immediately had to add it to this list. I’ve actually been eyeing it off for a while because I could not resist that title, and I’m beyond excited to give it a go.
Stalked by the Kraken (Monstrous Matches #1) by Lillian Lark
I’m a little less sure about this one, but the second book in this series caught my eye so I figured I should give this one a chance. I don’t really know what to expect from a Kraken romance, but it sounds like it could be a fun read.
So those are the ones I’ve found lately. Are any of them on your TBR, or have you read any of them already? If you’ve got any recommendations, I’d love to hear them—though please no spider/arachnid-like creature recommendations!
Don’t mind me, quietly over here taking notes.
