It’s coming to that time of year again—the time where we all start to panic because we realise we haven’t read those things we meant to. Well today, I’m here to share five books off my physical TBR that I need to read before the end of the year. I’m keeping it nice and simple, so let’s jump right in.
A Secret Love (Cynster #5) by Stephanie Laurens
I took a long break from reading any Stephanie Laurens, but it’s time now that I get back into it now. I own most of this series so it’d be nice to take at least one or two of them off my TBR before the end of the year, but for now, I’m just going to try and get this one read!
Skin of the Sea (Skin of the Sea #1) by Natasha Bowen
I bought this one last year, pretty soon after it was released if my memory is right. But of course, I haven’t picked it up since. I’m a tad nervous about this one because I’ve not really liked any of the mermaid books I’ve read thus far, but I just keep hoping I’ll find one one day. I know the sequel of this is out at the end of this month as well, so this might be the perfect time to pick this up.
Bombshell (Hell’s Belles #1) by Sarah MacLean
I had fully intended to read this one earlier this year, but after finishing Daring and the Duke and absolutely hating it, I thought taking a step back from MacLean might be a good idea. I realllly want to enjoy this one so I’ll definitely be trying to pick this one up when I’m specifically in the mood for a historical romance.
The Bridge Kingdom (The Bridge Kingdom #1) by Danielle L. Jensen
I’d kind of forgotten about this one (just a little!) until I heard it had been picked up by Penguin—it’s currently an Indie. I’ve had it on my shelf for a year now and it’s not even that long, so I think I should at least try and get to it before the end of the year.
The Dreams of Broken Kings (Fae Guardians #3) by Lana Pecherczyk
Since these are, apart from the Stephanie Laurens, all first books in series, I thought it was probably a good idea to get another sequel into the mix. This is part of a larger series, but it’s all the final book in a sub-series so in a way I am making something off. I absolutely loved the first two books in this, so I have high hopes that I’ll love this one too.
And that’s it for today! Have you read any of these? Are any on your TBR? What are the books you need to finish by the end of the year?
The Bridge Kingdom is fantastic! I hope you enjoy it when you get to it!

I have The Bridge Kingdom on my TBR for awhile now too. Interesting to hear it’s been picked up by Penguin. I wonder will they make changes to it…..
