My Spring 2025 TBR | Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is our Spring (or Autumn TBRs). I’ve not been doing seasonal TBRs this year, but with the end of the year so close, I do have some things I want to prioritise.

However, I’ve decided to only pick six books this season—mostly because I couldn’t decide what else I felt like reading. But here they are…

A Labyrinth of Fangs and Thorns (Fae Guardians #5) by Lana Pecherczyk

I’ve been trying to be more aware of the books I’ve bought at events in the last three years and still haven’t read, and this is one of them. I’ve been holding off on this series until I had all the released books, but the great thing about this series is that it comes in ‘seasons’. This is the season of vampire (books 4-6 in the series), and I own all of those and all of the ones in the next season too, so I think it’s time to just bite the bullet and read this.

Burn the Stars (Dying Gods #2) by Elisha Kemp

I’ll be picking this one up at RARE in October and I’ve been so excited for this series that I know I’ll want to read it immediately. I’ll probably do a quick reread of book one before hopefully moving onto this one and then the rest of the series.

Enter A Murderer (Roderick Alleyn #2) by Ngaio Marsh

I’ve always got a couple of rereads for my list, and this is the first for spring. I love Ngaio Marsh, she’s definitely one of my favourite authors and I had such a great time rereading the first book in the series. I remember very little about this one other than there’s a theatrical elements (a staple for Marsh).

The Year We Fell Down (The Ivy Years #1) by Sarina Bowen

Part of my goals for Spring is to clean up my Kindle a bit, so this one is the next reread on my list. I’ve been meaning to reread this for years so I’m excited for that. It’ll also just be nice to actually read some more from Sarina Bowen finally.

Dare Not and Saving Grace (State of Grace #4-5) by Colette Rhodes

Back to the books I bought at events. These are from BABE this year so they haven’t been sitting on my shelves too long (just since June), but I’ve been working through this series and these are the last two I’ve been really enjoying this series, so I hope they measure up.

What are you hoping to read this season?
