Spooky Season Reading Plans | My October TBR

I haven’t been doing monthly TBRs recently, but this month I’d set aside a couple of books I know I want to read and I thought I’d share them all with you. With it being October, I’ve ended up with a slightly spooky theme but let’s get into them.

Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier

This is the one I’m most excited for this month. You might know that Rebecca is one of my top three books, and even my most viewed post on this blog are my recommending books like Rebecca. But I get the chance to reread it this month as part of a book club I’m in with my old coworkers. THis was my suggestion for the month so I’m extremely excited for everyone to read it, as well as getting to reread it myself.

One Dark Window (The Shepherd King #1) by Rachel Gillig

This one is a buddy read with my friend, Mel. We’re planning to read both books in this series together and I’m looking forward to it. I loved The Knight and The Moth, and it’s been a while since Mel and I read anything together so it should be fun.

A Labyrinth of Fangs and Thorns (Fae Guardians #5) by Lana Pecherczyk

I started this one last night and I’m only 30 pages in, but I love this series. I don’t think this’ll be my favourite—the Vampire books are a little on the darker side which isn’t really my vibe. I still really enjoy them, but not as much as I did the wolves.

A Sunny Place for Shady People by Mariana Enriquez

I’ve been looking for an excuse to pick this up since I bought it at a signing event a few months back, and I don’t think there’s a better time than October. This’ll be my first book from Enriquez and so I’m really excited to see what I think.

There’s my October TBR, plus anything else I manage to get to this month. What are you reading for October?
