Here we are at the end of another month. 2026 has been a bit of weird year so far on my end, but I’m here to talk through what I’ve been reading, watching and doing so let’s get to it.
Reading

I managed to finish one book this month! Yes, it was a reread and one that took me multiple months to finish, but at least I did finish it. I’m very slowly getting back into the rhythm of reading so I’m hoping to maybe finish a few in March, but we’ll see. Anyway, let’s talk about The Mysterious Affair At Styles. This is the first book in the Poirot series and I hadn’t read it since the first time in 2018. I have this huge project planned around this book and a few others that I hope I might get to start talking about properly before the end of the year, but for now, this was my read for February.
TV, Movies and Music
I watched quite a bit of TV again this month. My main show has been The Mentalist. I think I’d just started season 2 at the end of January and now I’m up to season 4. I’ve had a bit of a break from it because I was feeling a bit over all the back and forth with Red John (no spoilers please!), but I’ll probably pick it up again in March.
I swapped to rewatching Lucifer from the start. I’m not finding this as engaging as I did the first time around so I think I’ll probably swap to something else.
And then, of course, I watched the second half of season 4 of Bridgerton. This is such a comfort show for me—I watched all of these four episodes in one go and I loved them. I cried a lot more than I’d expected (iykyk), but it was such a good distraction from everything for me.
Life Stuff
I guess I’m keeping up with the theme of the last few months being kind of rough on me. I ended up in hospital twice this month after avoiding any admissions for over two years (a new record for me), so that put a bit of a downer on everything. I’m resting up and making myself take things slowly, so I hope March will finally be a little better for me.
Plans for March
Obviously resting is a big plan for the month ahead, but I’m still trying to keep my mind active so my depression doesn’t decide to join the party. So I’m keeping it slow but fun for March:
- Enjoy my girls weekend with Angel who I haven’t seen since October
- Finish Surrealism and the Occult which I’m 75% through
- Film, edit and upload the three videos I’ve got planned
That was my Ferbaury. What did you get up to last month?
