2020 Releases I Still Need To Read

I am truly terrible at keeping up with new releases from year to year. I got kind of better at it last year, and then 2020 happened and that went out the window. So today I thought I’d share with you 5 2020 releases that I have on my shelves that I’m hoping to read between now and the end of the year,

The Extraordinaries by T.J Klune

I bought this one towards the end of July and I’ve just been waiting for the right time to read it. I’m hoping maybe I’ll feel inspired to pick this one up sometime around the end of this month, maybe start of October.

Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia

This is one of my most anticipated books of the year. I can’t beat myself up about this one because I did preorder it, but it still hasn’t arrived yet. I’m hoping it gets here soon because it would fit so perfectly with a few books I’m planning on reading soon.

Loveless by Alice Oseman

I totally meant to start this one as soon as it arrived, but then it got delayed by about a month and a half and by the time it did get here, I was already in the middle of so many other books. I’m making myself finish those before I start anything new, but as soon as I’m done with those…

Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo

Another case of making myself finish something before starting this one. I wanted to read With the Fire On High before this, which I have now done. So this is another one that I’ll be picking up as soon as I’m finished with those others.

The City We Became by N.K Jemisin

I honestly haven’t really thought about picking this one up yet. It’s kind of a large book, but I think it’s one that deserves my full, undivided attention. I’m just not in that mindset right now, but hopefully, I will be by the end of the year.

And that’s all I’ve got for now!
