My Next Romance Reads

I wrote a post back in February in which I shared the romance books I was hoping to read next, and today I’m doing a follow up of that. I’ll quickly talk about which ones from that post I read and then I’ll share the picks I have for the next two or so months. So let’s get into it.

The February List

So here are the ones I had from February, you can see that original post here to see my thoughts. I did really well! I read Famine, Rebel, Love in the Afternoon, Lord of Fire and Lord of Ice. Leaving only the two Stephanie Laurens I wanted to get to unread, but we’ll talk about those in a second.

The New List

The idea with these posts is really to make sure I’m reading the romances I’m buying before buying more. I have a pretty small section on my shelves for romance so I want to be making sure that nothing is sitting unread for too long. I’m on a book buying ban through June and July, so the goal is to read through these in order to buy others in August. Let’s talk about what I picked!

Devil Takes A Bride / One Night of Sin / His Wicked Kiss by Gaelen Foley

These are books five, six and seven in the Knight Miscellany series which would wrap up all the books for me. I’d been hoping to get to them in April but ended up having to push them back so that I could finish more pressing books. I’ll be doing a series review of these once I’m done.

Flowers From the Storm by Laura Kinsale

I bought this one over two years ago and I still haven’t gotten to it. This is a bit of an older romance with it being published in 1992—it’s actually a few years older than me, but I’ve heard some great things about it.

The Bareknuckle Bastards by Sarah MacLean

I bought myself this trilogy in February because I was feeling super excited for MacLean’s new book coming out later this year and I just wanted something of hers to read. I really have no idea what this series is about, but I’m excited for it.

The Hellions of Halstead Hall by Sabrina Jeffries

I’ve talked many, many times about how Sabrina Jeffries is my favourite romance author so I won’t bore you with those details again. But this is the next series of hers that I am due to start and I am very much looking forward to it.

Eyes Turned Skyward by Rebecca Yarros

You should all know by now that I love doubling up on TBRs or projects when I can. It makes me feel like I’m achieving so much more that way and that feels good. So, this is part of my Autumn TBR I made as part of TTT and I’m including it here too.

Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa

I’ve been telling myself I’d get to this one for weeks now but I just don’t have a lot of time to read Kindle books right now, but I’m planning to dedicate some time in June to do just that.

If I somehow manage to get through all of these before August, I’ll also pick up those next two Stephanie Laurens but I think I’ll have my hands full with all of these somehow.
