This week my bestie Angel and I are going away for a little trip, and so you know what that means—it’s TBR time! The whole point of this time away is to relax and read so I’ve picked out four books to bring with me and we’re going to talk about them now..

Ariadne by Jennifer Saint

I’ve been desperate to read this one for months and I finally managed to sneak it into a readathon prompt for March. This seems like a nice one to take away with me and just escape into over the weekend.

People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry

I’d kind of been avoiding Emily Henry’s adult contemporaries—I enjoyed her YA and I’ve always kind of struggled with contemporary romance…until recently! In February, I pretty much only read contemporary romances so I feel like I might be in the mood for this. Plus, I need to read it for another post!

Iron Heart by Nina Valera

I’d planned to get to Iron Heart in January, but as we all know, the best-laid plans often go awry. But like Ariadne, I managed to sneak this onto a TBR this month so it will finally be read. This is the last book in the duology so it’ll also help me with my goal of finishing series this year.

Daring and the Duke by Sarah MacLean

In the same vein, this will also finish off a series for me. It’s also part of the TBR that Angel picked for me this year—I’m actually doing really well with reading those so far, this’ll be my third one read so that’s exciting!

Whatever’s on my Kindle

And of course, my Kindle is coming with me in case I don’t feel like anything on this list once we get there. But hopefully, I’ll come back from this trip feeling refreshed and with a book or two read!
