It’s time for my next round-up of Libro.fm books! If you haven’t been here for one of these before, I’m part of Libro’s ACL program which gives you free audiobooks in return for talking about them online. Today I’m here to share with you the ones I picked up from May and June.
A Lady For a Duke by Alexis Hall

I was beyond excited to see some romance available in the May picks. I’d been feeling pretty uninspired by the choices lately so it was so great to see some reads I was genuinely excited for. I’d read Alexis Hall’s contemporary romance, Boyfriend Material, last year and have his historical romance, Something Fabulous, waiting on my shelves but I’m always excited to have more. If I enjoy Something Fabulous, I’ll probably end up buying the physical copy of this one so I can read it alongside the audiobook but I’m just incredibly excited!
Book Lovers by Emily Henry

I may have audibly gasped when I saw this one was available. I’d been seeing it around in the blogosphere and was really tempted by it, but knew that I didn’t want to buy it. Now that I’m reading the blurb of it, it does sound like a similar kind of set-up to Beach Read—bookish rivals, enemies to lovers kind of thing. I’ll definitely give it a go though.
The Woman in the Library by Sulari Gentill
I don’t have too much to say about this one other than it’s a closed circle mystery, which are always fun, and that I’d also been keeping an eye out on this one so I’m excited to have it now.
Woman of Light by Kali Fajardo-Anstine

I was also beyond excited to see this one. I haven’t even read any Fajardo-Anstine before and yet I have this feeling I’m really going to like her. I bought her short story collection, Sabrina and Corina, earlier this year and I’ve just been waiting on an excuse to pick it up. I’ve got a pretty busy month of reading ahead of me in June, but if I find the time I’ll definitely be trying to squeeze that one in so that I can maybe pick this one up in July or August. I’m hoping I end up really loving Fajardo-Anstine after all this hype I’ve created for myself.
And that’s it for this post. Let me know if you picked up any of these, whether from Libro or elsewhere!
