Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is books set in places I’d love to visit (real or fictional). I struggled with this a lot more than I thought I would, so I’ve just got the five today but let’s jump into it.

Lovelight Farms/Inglewind from the Lovelight series by B.K Borison
I don’t even know how to explain this one other than the fact that Inglewind sounds like a really idyllic small town that would be perfect for a getaway. There’s Lovelight Farms, which is the Christmas tree farm (among other things), which would be so fun to explore. I’ve also completely fallen in love with all the characters in the series and it would be amazing to have some of Layla’s baked goodies and walk around.
Tenebra City from the Tenebra City series by A.M Kore
Okay, this might be a strange one because it is a monster romance but bare with me. I’m honesty such a nerd that I just want to be able to attend Eventide Falls University and take Gideon’s class on mythology, and eat these amazing baked goods. Are you sensing a theme here?
Basically any Regency romance in London or the English Countryside
I know this is very general, but I couldn’t just pick one book or series—I’ve just picked the Julia Quinn because it was a cover I had on hand. So yes, I would technically die in Regency England because insulin definitely wasn’t a thing but I’d love to sneak into the world of fancy balls and long visits to friend’s gorgeous country mansions for a little while. This isn’t so much about the actual place and more about the feeling of it.
Nevermoor from the Nevermoor series by Jessica Townsend
These next two picks would definitely require me to regress to a child in order to be fully enjoyed, but I’d totally do it for a chance to experience Nevermoor. This world is so fantastic and intricate and the series is still ongoing, so I’m sure there’s even more wonderful things to come.
Camp Halfblood from Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan
I couldn’t resist adding this one even though I’d probably hate it once I was there. It would be such a cool world to be in, but it’s also feels like a lot of physical activity would be required—you know, capture the flag, training, the quests and all that. Is there a camp activity for people who just want food and rest? Because that’s definitely the one I’d be signing up for.
So that’s it for today! Would you visit any of these?
The cover of B.K Borison’s novel looks familiar. Pretty sure I recently read about it because the cover looked cute. 🙂

I love the English countryside. It’s so beautiful! I’m a T1D, so I wouldn’t survive the Regency era either, but books and movies do make it all seem very magical.
Happy TTT!

I have been feeling this nostalgia for regency ear England, too. I have never been to England and I cannot imagine the intricacies of living in the regency era anywhere. But, I like the idea of dressing up, walking, and socializing in the drawing room with friends, maybe even drinking some nice tea together. For me, it’s the dressing up and the food.
