Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is a Valentine’s Day freebie. As usual, whenever I have the chance to use a freebie to talk about romance books, I do. Today I thought I’d talk about the five romance books up next from my TBR.

Third Son’s A Charm (The Survivors #1) by Shana Galen
This is the romance book I’m reading right now (alongside a few non-romance things). I was just really feeling in the mood for a historical romance over the weekend, but I wanted to try something from an author I hadn’t read before. This one has been sitting on my shelf since 2021 so it felt like a good time to start it. I was planning to finish this yesterday or today, but I had to put it down briefly because something else came up so I’ll probably finish this tomorrow or Thursday instead.
A Strange Hymn (The Bargainer #2) by Laura Thalassa
I’ve been running a little readalong of this series with a couple of my friends and the plan is to read one a month. We read Rhapsodic in January, so it’s time for this one this month. I’m really excited about this one, but I think it’ll probably be next week before I have the chance to pick it up.
Wicked Beauty (Dark Olympus #3) by Katee Robert
I’ve been meaning to read this one since it came out months ago, but I just haven’t had the time. I still don’t really have the time in February or March right now, but I’m hoping I might be able to slip in between reading other things at some point.
Not Your Ex’s Hexes (Supernatural Singles #2) by April Asher
I read the first book in this series last October and, at the time, was just sort of ambivalent about continuing the series. When I saw this pop up at my library, I realised I actually wanted to read it, so I put it on hold. Since it’s relatively new, I’m pretty far down the waitlist, so I think it might be the end of March or early April before my copy comes in, but I think that’ll be perfect timing.
Well Met (Well Met #1) by Jen DeLuca
This one is also going to come into the library around that time. This one is a reread for me, though. I’ve been meaning to continue the series, but I completely forgot everything about this book. I know they’re only companions, but sometimes it’s nice to remember the set up, the characters, and all.
And that’s it from me today. I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day if you decide to do something special, or an excellent Tuesday if you don’t!
I hope you enjoy reading these books when the opportunity presents itself.

I rarely read romance, so I haven’t read any of these. I hope you enjoy them! I’ve heard good things about WELL MET especially.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
