Before we get into the super exciting content I have planned for this month of posts, I wanted to share a couple of blog changes and plans for July today. So let’s just get into it.
New Schedule for Wrap-Ups
This is really the only blog change, and that is that I’ll be changing my favourites and disappointments and watching and listening posts into bi-monthly posts rather than monthly. I’m finding at the moment that I just don’t have enough to talk about it to make the posts actually worth it. Having two months worth of books and movies to talk about makes the posts much more interesting in my opinion, so I’ll be sticking to that for the foreseeable future.
I’ll be taking a short blogging break in the second and third weeks of August. Obviously, putting this month of posts together has been and will be a lot of work and so I want to reward myself with a little bit of time off. I’m very bad at taking breaks but I’m trying to get better at it. It’s also the start of the second semester so I’ll be spending my time split between work and Uni already, and two weeks off seems like a good amount of time to get into a rhythm.
One might think working, posting every day, participating in Indie Accords and filming and uploading to my Booktube channel would be enough for a single month, but nope I went ahead and decided to join Camp NaNoWriMo as well. In my defence, I am doing a very relaxed version of the month—I’ll be working more on organising my different WIPs and taking stock of where I am and what I need to do to move forward. I’ve been stuck with my writing for a while because of dealing with life stuff and now I feel like I’m finally in a good enough place to get back to doing the things I love. It’s a really nice feeling.
That’s all for today everyone. I hope you really enjoy this month’s posts and I’ll see you all tomorrow.
