Last year, Angel and I did this fun little post where we picked romance books for one another to read. I absolutely loved doing it and I found some new favourites from that, and so we figured it was time to do another round. You can, of course, head over to Angel and see what I picked for her but let’s get into her selections for me!
Radiance (Wraith Kings #1) by Grace Draven

Angel: This has been on my TBR for a while now, and I really want to hear when you think about it. I’m hoping that you are going to love it because I think I will too. I have heard such fantastic things about it, and I know that you’ve been on a romance fantasy kick lately.
Ely: This one has also been on my TBR for a while too. I’m hoping I will also love it because the cover kind of gives me Pestilence by Laura Thalassa vibes (which Angel picked for me last time) and I need something to fill the gap that has created in my life.
The Winter King (Weathermages of Mystral #1) by C.L. Wilson

Angel: This is a fantasy/historical romance, and it just sounds so cool. I’m intrigued to hear what you think of it. Not a lot of my friends have read it, so I have no idea what to think about it. But I have a copy of it and want to give it a try.
Ely: This is the only one on the list I hadn’t heard of before but a mix of fantasy and historical romance just sounds kind of perfect. Plus there’s something about that cover—it feels very like 80s romance but in a fun way.
The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas

Angel: This is another one that I have heard some fantastic things about, and I think that you will really enjoy it. I didn’t want to get you all fantasy, so here is something that might be a little lighter to read. I have just heard good things about it, so I’m excited to hear what you think. Plus, this is on KU. I have just heard good things about it, so I’m excited to hear what you think.
Ely: If anyone had any doubts that Angel and I are basically the same person but in two separate bodies, this pretty much confirms it. Basically, we both picked this book for the other one to read because we’d been eyeing it off on KU. So I was definitely planning to pick this one up after Angel had read it but now I guess I’m picking it up anyway?
And those are Angel’s picks! Keep an eye out for a wrap-up post on these books at some point, hopefully soon…
Oh, that is so much fun that you pick each other’s books! I hope you enjoy these books, very curious how Spanish Love Deception is.
